Wreck Trek 2007
Sunday June 10th - low water 13-55 2.1m
Last year we had nearly 1000 walkers!
This year the weather was kind and we just beat last years record.
With Just over 1000 walkers, we raised nearly £1000 for the RNLI.
Special thanks to Steve the station mechanic and Debs who did most of the work, along with all the helpers on the day.
Lifeboat Day 2007
Saturday September 1st - high water 14-27 9.5m
A full free day of demonstrations, activities, music, truck pulling etc. took place for all the family.
The weather was at least dry - which was something - and crowds turned up to support the day.
Special thanks to all the helpers and contributors.
The stalls raised over £2500 on the day and the final total was over £8000. Thanks to all our supporters.
Barrow & Blackpool lifeboats were kind enough to come over and help.
The Mayor, our MP and the Deputy Mayor of Preesall, meet the crew.....
